The first journey out into the vast untamed land that is our farm consisted of Chap and I cutting down fifteen Mesquite trees which, are not only an eye sore, but ruin good grazing land for cows or other animals. So I put my farming get-up on, grabbed a water bottle, and dealt with my first real muscle work out. However, there were too many spiders and not enough sunscreen which left me with a killer sun burn.
We also stopped at a local fresh produce stand. We left with peaches and peas. And there was definitely a true cowboy behind the counter. Although I was too scared to take his picture.
