BG.

So food first, obviously. I had two cravings when I made it to BG from my *cough* 12 hour drive, and those were: Griff's Deli (see below), and Chaney's Dairy Barn ice cream. Every once in a while I'll have these intense cravings for probably the most delicious panini I've ever had. The Chipotle Chicken panini is cheesy and creamy, with a crunchy buttery bread. The spicy chipotle sauce blends so well with the chicken and tomato that it becomes a flavor explosion in your mouth. The portions are plenty as compared to other sandwich and salad spots and it leaves you debating how soon is too soon to come back for round two. Needless to say my cravings were not disappointed. Chaney's Dairy Barn was my second request. A little further out of town but worth the drive. They have a plethora of ice cream choices. I decided on my go to flavor, Big Red Rumble. Red velvet cake swirled into vanilla ice cream. During the summer Chaney's puts on a movie and

The Paint'n Place.

During my recent trip to Bowling Green, KY I was fortunate enough to stop in on The Paint'n Place.  (<<check out their website) During my three years at WKU I spent almost all three working at this lovely pottery painting studio. It's one of a kind in BG and the staff here really became family to me when mine were so far away. It's such a cute happy studio with so many amazing pieces to paint. I was honored to see a lot of my samples still up on the shelves, and it brought back many fond memories. They do birthday parties, ladies nights, canvas painting parties, custom painted pieces, and new glass fusion! It's all seriously cool. My favorite thing about The Paint'n Place is the fact that everything you paint is so personal to you and makes something like a mug or a plate so special and unique. Of course I couldn't go in and not paint something, but I can't show you since its a gift for a special bride to be. Mrs. Linda Henry has put so muc

Floridians meet Texas.

My good friends from Tampa just moved to the DFW area so we had them out for a little Texas fun on the farm. For being city kids / beach bums they were all excellent shots. Home intruders beware.  It was so great to catch up and spend some time with them, and so glad they're close by. A special thanks to Casey for the firearms lessons, as always.  K

Chelsea and Lola.

These adorable puppies are Chelsea and Lola, our new Great Pyrenees dogs. Their purpose, not only to look cute, but as they get older and bigger to protect the goats. I'm sure they'll do a great job of this because when they're full grown they'll look more like white furry horses. We were told by Mummy not to pet them because they needed to bond with the goats, but obviously I couldn't resist.  They're too much. K

The Stinnett's.

I absolutely loved taking photographs of the Stinnett family. There were certainly lots of laughs along the way, which made my job easier. A few melt downs (those trains will get you all the time), but nothing this sweet family couldn't recover from. They're such a fun, silly lot and it was my pleasure to capture some moments for them.  [All photos taken on the Canon Rebel T3i] For questions about sessions and pricing, message me on Facebook, or email at katie.e.hudson@gmail.com.
